Privacy policy for Lusid's B Box
Effective November 3, 2026
Lusid Productions LLC ("we") makes Lusid's B Box ("B Box"). This policy covers the copy of B Box sold through the Microsoft Store.
The short version
B Box collects nothing about you. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your library, playlists, ratings and settings stay on your PC. We never see them.
What stays on your PC
- Your music files. B Box reads them and never changes, moves or uploads them.
- B Box's library file: songs, playlists, stars, play counts, your Song info fixes, your own covers, CD inserts and settings.
- A log file B Box writes for troubleshooting. It stays on your PC unless you choose to send it to us.
When B Box goes online
Only when you use one of these features, and only to that service:

Each request carries B Box's name, version and this website's address, as those services ask. Their own privacy policies cover what they do with a request. B Box sends nothing to us.
The phone remote
If you switch it on, B Box listens on your home network so a phone there can control playback. It pairs with a 4-digit code, works only on your home network, and sends no music and no library data off your network.
Buying B Box
Microsoft handles the purchase through the Microsoft Store. We don't receive your payment details. Microsoft's privacy statement covers that.
This website
lusidproductions.com counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't track you across sites. It sees which pages are visited, the referring site, and your browser and country. We use the totals to see what people read. The site has no forms, no accounts and no ads.
Children
B Box collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
